There is something incredibly personal about being invited into the morning of someone’s wedding.
My approach to bridal makeup begins with the person rather than the makeup. I want to understand how you normally see yourself, what makes you feel beautiful, and how you want to feel when you look in the mirror that morning.
The intention is never to make you look like somebody else. It is to create something that feels entirely at home on your face. Considered, beautifully finished and still recognisably you.
I love makeup for its ability to bring something forward: the warmth of skin, the shape of an eye, the features that make a face individual. On a wedding day, I think that matters even more. The photographs will stay with you for years, but the person in them should still feel familiar.
And beyond the makeup itself, I care deeply about the experience around it. Wedding mornings hold so much anticipation and emotion. My heart is that for the time you spend in my chair you feel calm, cared for and unhurried — a small part of the day where you can simply sit, be looked after, and take it all in.
