I consider being invited into someone’s wedding day to be something incredibly personal and special.
My approach to bridal makeup begins with the bride, rather than the makeup. I want to understand how you see yourself, what makes you feel most beautiful, and how you want to feel when you look in the mirror on your wedding day.
My intention is never to make you look like somebody else. It is to create makeup that feels entirely at home on your face. Considered, beautifully finished and still recognisably you.
What I love about makeup is its ability to bring forward what is already there: the warmth of the skin, the shape of an eye, the features that make a face distinctly your own. On a wedding day, that feels especially important. The photographs will remain long after the day itself, and the person in them should still feel unmistakably like you.
Beyond the makeup, I care deeply about the experience of the morning itself. There is so much anticipation and emotion held in those few hours. My hope is that the time you spend in my chair feels calm, cared for and unhurried. A small part of the day where you can simply sit, be looked after, and take it all in.
